Dean joined EnviroSolutions in April 2015. With more than 25 years of environmental industry experience, Dean brings a wealth of knowledge, an entrepreneurial background and a proven track record of success to the EnviroSolutions leadership team.

Prior to ESI, Dean had a successful 14-year career in a variety of senior management roles throughout Waste Management’s North American footprint. This included overall responsibility for solid waste and recycling collection operations, subtitle C and D landfills, single stream material recovery facilities, construction and demolition recovery facilities, transfer stations and emerging market diversion technologies that generated more that $875 million in annual revenue and employed 2,300 people.

Earlier in his career Dean honed his entrepreneurial skills by founding his own solid waste collection and recycling company that was later acquired by Waste Management.

Dean earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governors University.

Jim joined EnviroSolutions Inc. in August 2015 as Chief Financial Officer. He has 35 years of finance experience including 32 years in a variety of senior financial management positions at Waste Management Inc., most recently as Director of Investor Relations and Director of Finance. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Iowa.

Charles has served as General Counsel of ESI since 2004, during which time the company acquired and developed the majority of its current operations.

Charles is a former partner of Kirkland & Ellis, LLP. He started his practice in the Chicago office in 1986, and in 1990 co-founded the firm’s Manhattan office. During this time, Charles represented corporations, private equity firms and other entities from a variety of industries in transactions including acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, public and private debt and equity offerings and bank financings.

Charles has a both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan.

Chris joined ESI in July 2015. Prior to ESI, Chris led a large sales organization at Waste Management for 11 years focusing on customer relationships, sales growth, quality pricing and customer service.  Throughout his more than 25 years of industry experience, Chris has held a variety of regional and district sales roles as well as owning his own solid waste collection company.

Chris graduated from Towson University with a Bachler of Science in Business Administration.

Bill joined the ESI leadership team in February 2016 and brings with him more than 30 years of solid waste industry experience.  Bill started his solid waste career in 1987 at BFI headquarters in Houston, Tex. and moved on to hold various executive positions with national, regional and privately held waste companies including general manager, market area president, area president, corporate VP of operations, and regional vice president.

Bill’s tenure in the waste industry has taken him to Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Illinois.  Throughout his travels he has applied his skills of team building, cost control, asset management, and financial expertise to build solid and profitable collection operations, landfills, transfer stations, recycling centers, portable toilet divisions and medical waste units.

Bill earned his MBA in Finance and Management from the University of Houston, Clear Lake.

Gary has been part of the ESI team since 2009 and brings more than 13 years of experience in the manufacturing and service industries. He served four years as Business Team Leader and Six Sigma Blackbelt for General Electric with responsibilities for operations, production scheduling, process improvement and quality improvement. He also served nine years in the service industry in operations and customer service as Customer Service Manager, Operations Leader, Vice President of VA Consumer Service Call Center and General Manager of Service Support Operations with responsibilities for Service Delivery, Service Operations and Customer Relations.

Gary earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Massachusetts in 1991 and served five years as an officer in the U.S. Navy.

Bob Gretz has over 25 years of experience in the solid waste industry. Prior to joining ESI in 2004, Bob held various management positions with large national waste companies throughout the United States focusing on operational excellence, safety, sales and general management. He also held the international position of Country Manager for Spain while at Browning Ferris Industries (BFI).

Bob earned a degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno.

Andrea joined the ESI leadership team in April 2017 with more than 25 years of experience leading high performance HR organizations that support accelerated growth.  Over the course of her career, Andrea has spearheaded strategies focused on organizational development, leadership, recruiting, compensation & benefits design, employee engagement, and training and development. Her primary focus has always been to ensure organizations are positioned for long-term success by focusing on the company’s most important asset – its people.

Andrea earned her Master’s degree in Organizational Effectiveness from Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
