Mr. Hewes has 13 years of experience in the manufacturing and service industries. He served 4 years as Business Team Leader and Six Sigma Blackbelt for General Electric with responsibilities for operations, production scheduling, process improvement, and quality improvement. He also served 9 years in the service industry in operations and customer service as Customer Service Manager, Operations Leader, Vice President of VA Consumer Service Call Center, and General Manager of Service Support Operations for General Electric with responsibilities for Service Delivery, Service Operations, and Customer Relations.
Mr. Hewes earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UMass in 1987 and served 5 years as an officer in the US Navy.
