Eric Wallace

Eric Wallace is the EnviroSolutions, Inc. (ESI) President and Chief Executive Officer - he joined ESI in August 2008. With more than 23 years of leadership and management expertise gained in some of the most highly regarded organizations in the world and extensive experience leading service operations, Eric brings a broad capability in strategy, operations, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and business development to ESI.

Eric came to EnviroSolutions from the General Electric Company (GE), where he steadily moved up the executive ranks in his 10+ years there. In his final role at GE Eric served as the General Manager of Consumer Home Services (part of GE Appliances), a business with nearly $500 million in sales and approximately 2500 employees. In this role his wide-ranging responsibilities included in-home appliance repair, service contract/extended warranty sales and service, parts and accessories distribution and sales, the water treatment products business (water heaters, softeners, filtration products, and dispensers), customer/consumer relations, and all call-center operations for post-sales inquiries. Earlier in his tenure at GE Eric served as Vice President of the Service Business at GE Fanuc Automation, where he was responsible for all aftermarket sales, service, and support for this factory automation hardware and software business. This P&L was comprised of five business segments - Engineering Services, Spare Parts/Software Upgrades, Component Repair/Retrofit, Software Programming and Equipment Maintenance Training, and Remote Diagnostics/Technical Support. While at GE he also held two staff roles - General Manager of Business Development for the $2.5 billion Electrical Distribution & Control business and General Manager of Six Sigma for the $6 billion Industrial Systems and $14 billion Consumer & Industrial divisions. Additionally, while at GE Eric was selected to attend the prestigious Business Management and Executive Development Courses.

Eric attended the United States Naval Academy and following his graduation he was commissioned an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. As a Marine Eric managed maintenance and logistics support services for helicopter squadrons and repair depots. After rising to the rank of Captain, Eric chose to leave the military and earned his MBA from The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. Following business school, he became a management consultant with A.T. Kearney, where he worked primarily with Fortune 200 companies in various industries including automotive, industrial chemicals/fibers, package delivery, photo-finishing, and precision manufacturing. While at Kearney his assignments focused primarily on operations improvement/cost reduction, organizational effectiveness, planning and strategy, process reengineering, and product development.

Eric has been widely recognized and received numerous awards for his accomplishments, including being selected as one of the “Top 50 MBAs Under 50” by National Black MBA magazine (2005). Eric is a former director at Circon Technology Corp., Control Automation Technology Services, Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford, INROADS - Greater Hartford & Springfield, the Louisville Urban League, and The Muhammad Ali Center.
